My memories of Uncle Ian: He always seemed to me to be understated...wise, thoughtful, a listener who was quietly considered in everything he said. A wonderful sense of humour and a brilliant mind. I love the photos that have been uploaded capture the many angles of Ian, his life, his passions, commitment and his tenderness. So many aspects of him were shared by his brother, my dad, David McCluney...and an overpowering physical resemblance. I imagine Ian could be fiery too, another McCluney thing!
